What We Believe

“But what about you?” he asked, “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  (Matthew 16:15-16)

Evangelism:

We exist for the sake of those who are not yet a part of the Body of Christ. We are called to share our faith, our love, and our lives with the lost.

Fellowship:

God calls us into a relationship with Him and to grow in our relationships with others. It is through open fellowship that we utilize each other’s spiritual gifts, carry each other’s burdens, and encourage each other’s walk.

Ministry:

We believe in and practice the three primary ministries of the Church: the Ministry of the Word, the Ministry of Prayer, and the Ministry of Compassion.

Worship:

God offers grace and forgiveness. Our worship services are an expression of God’s love in our lives. We believe all Christians should be living a life of worship for God.

Study:

We acknowledge the Holy Bible as the revealed truth of God. It provides the basis of our beliefs and gives direction to our lives.

Service:

Jesus washed the feet of his disciples and calls us to do the same. We are not called to be served, rather we are called to serve. By serving together we demonstrate the love of Christ, thereby connecting others to Jesus.

Growth:

God made us to grow. We were not created to be stagnant, but to experience challenges, learn new truths, and to be stretched by the Lord. In order for growth to occur, the Christian needs teaching, fellowship, worship, and service.
